To comply with evolving international tax regulations, ZBX is now required to collect a Tax Identification Number (TIN) from all clients.
Why we need your TIN
Global and regional regulatory frameworks now mandate that crypto‑asset service providers collect and report certain customer information to tax authorities. These requirements are driven by:
- CARF (Crypto‑Asset Reporting Framework), the new global standard for the automatic exchange of information on crypto‑asset transactions.
- DAC8, the European Union’s amendment to the Directive on Administrative Cooperation, which extends tax transparency obligations to crypto‑asset platforms operating in or serving clients within the EU.
These regulations aim to enhance tax compliance, prevent tax evasion, and ensure consistent reporting across jurisdictions.
Providing your TIN helps ensure uninterrupted access to ZBX services and keeps your account in good standing.
How to submit your TIN
You will be prompted to update your account information when you log in. Please ensure the TIN you provide is accurate and corresponds to your country of tax residence.
If you have any questions, our support team is ready to assist.
